In its unrivalled location at Grub Street, surrounded by Limpsfield Common, The Limpsfield Royal British Legion Club really is the perfect place to while away an afternoon in the sunshine, have a spot of lunch, socialise with friends or make use of the many facilities on offer, including a safe and sunny beer garden, private room for dinners or meetings, darts, indoor skittles, play area, snooker room, boules court and live music.

The Legion’s clubhouse, Bowling Green Cottage, sits surrounded by National Trust land. It was donated by the Titsey Estate “for returning servicemen and the people of Limpsfield” when after the first world war, the Lord of the Manor, Charles Leveson Gower, agreed to the erection of a Clubhouse to house the Limpsfield branch of the Royal British Legion, founded in 1921.

“The Legion” is open to both members and non-members. Membership helps to keep the club running and allows it to offer very sociable prices for food and drink. It also allows you access to our Snooker tables and Darts. So please join! It’s great value. Just ask at the bar. See the About page for more information about membership.

The club is open 7 days a week and also hosts private events, parties, receptions and wakes. Call 01883 722105 to book a table, private room or function, snooker table, darts or skittles. Or just pop in and see us. Most days, you will probably not need to book in advance, but we do have events and regular darts and snooker matches on, so it’s better to be safe than sorry!
